Brand new NOS Fender Custom Shop 1975 Jazz Bass in Natural, built true to the era that defined modern slap and funk tones. Weighing 9.3 lbs with covers on and 8.9 lbs with covers removed, it features the correct 3-bolt neck and period-accurate details throughout. Just like the originals, the bridge pickup sits slightly closer to the bridge, delivering that unmistakable chime, clarity, and fast attack—it has that Marcus-like snap. Tight, articulate, and alive in the hands, this is a stellar example of why mid-’70s Jazz Basses remain in a class of their own.
You may notice two different serial numbers — one on the headstock and one on the neck plate. This is intentional and correct for this Fender Custom Shop build: the headstock serial preserves vintage-era accuracy, while the neck plate serial is Fender’s modern Custom Shop production number used for authentication and tracking.
