Check out this one of a kind masterpiece of imagination from the Fender Custom Shop. Created for the Fender Custom shop for the 75th anniversary of the P-Bass.
This bass has features from the original “Tele bass” of the ’60’s and ’70’s combined to create a bass that “never was.”
The body is a 2 piece selected ash 1955 style with an aged crimson red finish.
The neck is a 1955 P-Bass Closet Classic / Relic with a 7.25″ fret board radius; nut width of 1.7; butt width of 2.0″, with a 55 P-Bass soft V shape.
The neck pick up is a Novak Tele Bass Fat Wind in nickel.
The bridge pick up is a Fender Custom Shop 55 P-Bass.
This is a quite unique bass that emulates the features offered by master bass crafters of the ’70’s for their most demanding customers.
