This Custom Shop gem brings serious vintage mojo with modern craftsmanship. The Time Machine ’66 P-Bass® features a Faded Bleached 3-Tone Sunburst Journeyman Relic® lacquer finish over a 2-piece select alder body—aged just right for that played-in feel without going over the top.
The quartersawn maple neck has a comfortable 1960 P Bass® oval “C” profile and a round-lam rosewood fingerboard with a classic 7.25″ radius and 20 medium jumbo frets. Under the hood, a Custom Shop hand-wound ’65/’70 split-coil pickup delivers warm, punchy tones with vintage wiring for that unmistakable Precision growl.
Outfitted with a 4-ply brown shell pickguard, vintage-style hardware, and a bone nut for rock-solid tuning stability. Includes a deluxe hardshell case, strap, and Certificate of Authenticity.
