Sandberg Greenline Short Scale Bass – Serial #49349
A standout in the Greenline series, this 30” short scale features a rare hi-gloss Tobacco Burst finish—unlike the more common matte versions. At just 7.4 lbs, it’s light and effortless to play, yet delivers a surprisingly solid feel with excellent string tension.
Tonally, it punches well above its size: clear, focused, and undeniably big—very much in P-bass territory. Easy to forget it’s a short scale.
Unlike the standard Lionel short scale (passive with an aged matte finish), this one was custom spec’d with a hi-gloss finish, no aging, and a bonus onboard preamp—making it a truly unique example.
Maple neck. The alder body grain and maple neck grain are both quite nice. A distinctive instrument that doesn’t compromise on sound or feel.
