This Sandberg California II T TM6 Super Light is one of the lightest 6-strings we’ve ever seen — an almost unbelievable 7.7 lbs, especially considering the bridge humbucker and hardware. Most 6-strings push well past 9 lbs; this one is lighter than most 4-strings you’ll ever play.

The Super Light paulownia body delivers a springy, responsive feel with warm, cushioned lows and excellent clarity, while Sandberg’s deep ergonomic contours make it incredibly comfortable for long sessions.

The satin maple neck shows beautiful natural grain and feels fast and broken-in, paired with a rich pau ferro fretboard with deep, chocolate-toned character. The zero fret adds consistency across open and fretted notes.

Delano pickups provide massive range — a clear, articulate J-style single coil at the neck and a thick, punchy humbucker at the bridge with series/parallel switching, plus Sandberg’s 2-band EQ and push/pull active/passive operation.

In stock and ready to ship. At the time of writing, special-order builds like this are running roughly 18–20 months out.

If you want a 6-string without the weight penalty, this one is something special.
