Fender Custom Shop ’68 Jazz Bass Journeyman Relic – Vintage White

This Fender Custom Shop ’68 Jazz Bass is part of the Time Machine series, designed to replicate the look, feel, and tone of a late-1960s Jazz Bass.

It features a 2-piece select alder body with a Vintage White nitrocellulose lacquer finish and light Journeyman Relic aging. The neck is quartersawn maple with a 1960 U-shaped profile and a round-laminated maple fingerboard. The fingerboard has a 9.5″ radius and 20 medium jumbo frets.

The pickups are Fender Custom Shop hand-wound Vintage Jazz Bass single-coils, controlled by two volume knobs and one master tone. Hardware includes a 4-saddle vintage-style bridge, vintage-style tuners, ashtray covers, plastic knobs, and a 4-ply pickguard.

We feel this bass is a great player with a fast, springy response, and weighs 9.65 lbs. Includes a hardshell case and certificate of authenticity.
